We all have stories about the Bow and Elbow rivers – experiences, moments and memories that have shaped how we relate to the watersheds that define our city. We invite you to share your story by submitting a photo of the river that captures your special relationship to the watershed. Be one of the first 50 people to submit a photo and short caption or story relating to the image and you will receive an Ask the River Sign created by us (Broken City Lab artist collective) through our “Varying Proximities” installation.

Deadline: February 26, 2018

Submission Form:

Please enter your email, so we can follow up with you.
Please upload your photos in the largest file size you can. Whether taking images with your phone, a point-and-shoot, or a DSLR, we would prefer to receive the original JPG files for the best quality print.
By submitting this form, you hereby agree to release your photograph, name, and supplementary information about the photograph for publication, promotion, exhibition and archiving purposes to Broken City Lab and its members, Watershed+, and the City of Calgary. Please note we will only use your contact information for our records and will not publish your email or mailing address in any form. If we select your photograph for publication, we will email you with further details.
